Back to the Carolinas: October 2019 Highlights
Silence means
acceptance

October
came and went so fast. It was the month that the weather started to
show that it was really fall. Leaves changed into autumn colors. I
got all my cold outwears out of the suitcase and started dreaming of
island life. With fall come memorable moments and disappointment but
most importantly, little blessing. I' am forever thankful to Jesus
Christ for all that I have been given.
Here are
the highlights of the month of October:
- At an event last month, I met a peer and we hung out the first weekend of October.
- I got to hang out with an old college friend. It was nice to see him in good spirits
- I got a chance to read more. I even added more books to my library
- I overheard my nephews praying the Lord Prayer by themselves
- I got a chance to hold my niece Vivi (that's her nickname) for the first time
- I had dinner with D
- Lionel turned 9 years old
- I got my passport photos done
- I added more books to my bookshelves
In life,
with anything good comes a little bad, here are the lows of the month
of October:
- I gained all the weights that I had lost last month
- I was not consistent in any project that I had undertaken
- I didn't run as much as I would of like
- I didn't read as much as I would of like
- I didn't accomplish the goals I have set for myself for this month
