Europe Trip 2015: Day 8th Toulouse, FR
*This post was written on 4-12-15
So today we went to Mass At St. Sernin. The Church was cold and beautiful. I did not want to take pictures during Mass out of the respect then afterwards i lit a candle for my padre and prayed a bit.
What i didn't like was that outside the church, people had created a market on church property! Apparently, it's perfectly legal to sell things and have a market right in front of the Church while mass is being conducted. I was appalled and found it disrespectful. A place of worship is sacred!
My camera started to act up, so most of my good pictures are in my phone (when i figure out how to upload it here i will, in a separate post).
Then my aunt and I walked a few blocks to another market that was selling fruits and vegetables. We bought a few and took the Metro to Francois Vendeir.

There we visited St. Eteinne Cathedral and my camera died, so here's a few pictures i got there.
Prior to go to St. Etienne Cathedral, we stop at a Kebaba place down the street and had lunch. After that, we walked past Musee de Augustin which is a convent, church and museum. I'm not sure if it is also a school but St. Sernin is. Afterwards, we walk across Pont Neuf, which i have tons of pictures of since i run across it almost everyday.

-Highlights of my day was:
- Mass in French(it's been ages since i've been to a French Mass)
- seeing all these wonderful Catholic Churches that has been built in 6th Century and are still standing
- Europe have a great public transportation systems (Subway, Train, Buses etc).
- Seeing numerous people riding bikes or walking. It's rare in all the places i've lived to see that.
- it's finally spring in France
- having a market with loud noises outside the church during mass hours (St. Sernin has double doors in each entrances and exits, 2 of those doors are sound proof).
- family b.s.(this is not a vacation i thought it would of been)
