*posts written from April 15th to 17th, 2015
There is nothing final about a mistake, except its being taken as final
-Chinese Fortune Cookie
-Day 11
- Happy Birthday Nelson!
- we went walking around town. I truly like Toulouse! The city, itself is beautiful.
- took one of the free bus that travel around town, taking people around centre ville.
- i didn't take any pictures because i was so tired and sick
- we went to Espace St. George and bought some groceries
- came home and talked to my mom
-Day 12 "Never Again"
- ran this morning
- tried to do something good and it blow up in my face
- i realized that i will never voluntarily put myself in this family member "care" again
- walked around town and took some pictures of the streets i ran through, bridges, and visited Saint Nicolas. It was beautiful and old. My camera started to act up, so i couldn't take any more pictures of the church inside.
- i really want my trip to end, it's not fun when you're being mistreated.
-Day 13 Last day in Toulouse, France
- ran around town for the last time
- went to the train station to pick up my ticket, then hung out with Aunt B and her friends while drinking wine at their friends' new bar. I got a bit tipsy real quick but exercise self control (stayed mute the entire time).
- went back to Aunt's place and packed.
- had a late dinner and drank some more wine
- finished packing and said out good byes.
- Highlights of the trip to Toulouse:
-->Beautiful City, built before the birth of Christ according to its history
--->diversity
-->churches everywhere. Most of the Catholic Churches were ancient and very traditional!!! <3
-->Wine
- Lows:
-->I didn't really get to enjoy the city, shopping and the restaurants etc
~xoxo
