Back to the Carolinas: Christmas 2015

There's no security in this life

             Due to my work schedule, I did not get a chance to do early Christmas shopping until Christmas eve. Not a great idea. The shops were all packed with people, so I decided to go the small town outside CLT and buy gift there. I got everyone gifts and got home just in time to sneak the gifts under the tree before any one saw me.

Christmas Day

• my little sister arrived in CLT around 5 am
• 9am my nephew Ethan came into my room and told us to go to the living room because it was time to open the gifts and we can't do it without everyone present
• 10 minutes later, my nephew Lionel came to my room to give his Auntie (my little sister) a hug but then a Christmas miracle happened, he gave me a hug too (Lionel isn't fond of people hugging him)
• everyone gather up in the living room and we prayed before we opened our gifts
• we took pictures and went back to bed
• around 3pm, we ate a big feast prepared by my SIL and Aunt
• I went out for a run and spent the evening discussing  our love life with my little sister.
