Back to Carolinas: All Saints Day
To deny people their human rights is to challenge their very humanity

I woke up early on Sunday hoping to get a run in prior to going to Mass but it was raining so I went back to sleep. Woke up and got ready for Mass.
After mass, Br. Paul told me to go to the soccer field of the school (I attended Mass @ my Alma Mater which is a Catholic College). I went there and saw a bunch of billboards around the field, and one of them being a picture of me running during a cross country meet.
I' am truly honored to have my picture out there. I don't know how long it will be there or why I was one of the people chosen among the hundreds of the Abbey past and present students athletes but THANK YOU.
I chose to go to Belmont Abbey College because I felt at peace there. When I arrived for the college visit, the first place I was shown was the basilica (The Church) and everything felt right. Even when college life got interesting, I have always felt safe and at peace. I have met a lot of great people and had the chance to learn under a few brilliant minds. I love the Abbey and I'm proud to be a Crusader.
After Mass, I went in search for the perfect Hen gift for Ivy. Since we both like books, I stop at the nearest bookstore I saw. Hopefully, she likes my gift and understand the meaning behind it.
Then I came home and had a blast talking to my siblings. I then went for a run since the weather had cleared up. Afterwards, I drove downtown for dinner with Chey since she was in town.
Well I couldn't find the place where we were suppose to meet. I end up parking at the BoA parking lot and used Google GPS on my phone to find her. During my walk to the restaurant, rain started to pour and the hairstyle that I got done for Ivy's wedding got destroyed.
By the time I arrived at the restaurant, my hair was a big puff ball. But it was nice to see Chey and catch up with her.
After dinner, I made her drive me back to the BoA parking lot and I was able to find my car quickly. I got home safely and tried to fix my puff ball with no luck. Overall, I had a great All Saint's Day.
