Back to the Carolinas: What Christmas 2015 Weekend has taught me
A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour.

- Just because you know someone in their childhood doesn't mean you know them in their adulthood.
- Acceptance works both ways. You must take others as they are, especially if you want them to take you as you are.
- never get mad at someone for being who they are.
- opinions and assumptions are okay. It shows that people are thinking but don't let the opinions and assumptions of others be your story.
- you should take certain people at face value.
- when you are surrounded by strong willful people, be you. Don't let others change you.
- some people will never change. Take them as they are.
- Not all struggles are in vain.
- prayers, quiet time, praying the Rosary and reading the Bible does the soul and spirit good.
