Back to the Carolinas: Weekend Recap..Snowed in
For a person to be lovable, they must first be loved.
-La Bella e la Bestia (Italian/French mini series)
It snowed Thursday night and a little Friday and since I have never driven in the snowed before, I called off work and stayed home with the family, which was a great decision. We laughed, watch tv, enjoyed each other company and told stories. My Oldest Brother's in laws told us a stories of how they survived during the war in Liberia, from fetching dirty waters to drink (*we discussed the Flint, Michigan water situation), being separated from each other, and walking to the Cote d'Ivoire border to escape the war. My Oldest brother MIL made us some Liberian soup and we just laughed. Then my 2nd Oldest brother told us, the story of how dirty the waters were in Katanga, D.R of Congo and how they had no choice but to use and drink that water for survival.... God has truly been good to us. We have survived a lot and came a long way.

After washing my hair, I got my SIL to do my hair. My SIL decided to make her own version of a hood drier using clear food plastic wrap, tape, hair drier, and a scarf.
