The new year started with a trip to Greensboro to be a bridesmaid at Doc hero wedding. I was truly honored to be included.

The following week, I spent time working long hours, cooking, and enjoying evening run and long walks.

Then I had the privilege to attend a former law school classmate daughter's baptism in Tampa, Florida. I was and I am truly honored to be included.

I spent the next two weeks trying new recipes in the kitchen, running in the evening and enjoying long walks around town. 

In this era of my life, I'm embracing slow living. Being happy over a home cooked meal and freshly brewed coffee. It's the little things and I'm loving it. There's beauty in the mundane.
