June 2023 High/Low
You have to let the story play out.
-Kate Casey
I usher in the month of June celebrating my big sister W birthday. We got a chance to walk early one Saturday and get our nails done together. It was fun having uninterrupted one by one time with her.
The second week of June was spent working, running, bonding with Doc Hero and Miss 2 degrees and hanging out with my nephews.
The third week of June was spent working, afternoon walks in the park, deer sighting, trying to run as much as I could whenever my schedule permitted, and celebrating Doc Hero engagement.
I also traveled to Fort Mill and ran a 5k, spent some solo quality time: having dinner, drinking coconut margarita and taking a long nap. Solo travel is a must. It's necessary for recharge, resetting and reflecting. Being alone can be therapeutic.
After my weekend in Fort Mill, I drove to Summerville for the week. It was great to change my environment for a week. I worked, ran, reset and hung out with the sweetest puppy named Lokki.
I end the month celebrating Miss 2 degrees 29th birthday, stressing over work, and running around my neighborhood.
