5 Things that I learned from my YaYas

You can start out with nothing, and out of nothing, and out of no way, a way will be made.

Ya Nathalie

I'm grateful to have amazing women in my life as my sisters. They have inspired me in so many ways and it's a blessing to know each and every one of them.
For this post I'm focusing on Ya Nathalie and Ya Wally. These two have taught me so much about life, God and hard work by how they live their lives. I could write books on all that I have learned from them but I'm going to focus on 5 things for this post.

  1. work hard for everything you want. Ya Nathalie and Ya Wally constantly work their butt off to survive and help others.
  2. pray for what you want.
  3. don't stay down. I've witnessed life knock my sisters down countless times but they have always gotten up and moved forward. "The greatest tragedy of life is not to fall down but to stay down." (Pastor John Hagee).
  4. keep your distance from certain people especially if they bring toxicity, evilness, bad vibes and drama into your life.
  5. put your confidence in God not man. "People will always fall short. Put your confidence in God." (Pastor Steven Furtick).

*Bonus: 1) don't pay attention to things you know are not true. 2) don't accept criticism from someone you wont take advice from.

Ya Nathalie and Ya Wally,

Thank you for setting a great example for me. I'm proud to call you guys my big sisters.
Happy Belated Birthday Ya Nathalie and Happy Birthday Ya Wally💖

~xoxo
