Back to the Carolinas: Things I'm Thankful for this Autumn 2020

 The man who moves a mountain begins by carrying away small stones.

These last several months have been hard for me personally. But despite what's going on internally,  I have my faith, my family and my friends to push me through.

Life has given me so many things to be thankful for this season such as:

  1. Getting back into cooking without having an audience or side commentary;
  2. Bookstore trips and hot apple cider;
  3. Long runs before sunset;
  4. Gospel Music/Christian Music playing throughout the house;
  5. Mini conversation with my nephews;
  6. being employed. It's a blessing to HAVE work and to be ABLE to work;
  7. Brunches and Mimosa;
  8. Marco Polo with my best friend;
  9. Walmart weekend trips;
  10. Smoothie Kings Sundays;
  11. Reading by the window with a glass of wine;
  12. dressing up to hanging out with my sisters; and
  13. the hope of new beginnings. Seasons changes bring hope that after the cold weather passes, a new year comes; a new journey awaits.
