4th of July and Lamborghini Mercy

Since the 4th of July was also a friend of mine birthday as well as Independence Day.
We've spent the whole morning and early afternoon on his boat enjoying the day.
Then we took a little break at one of the little island and swam. Well he swam and i
floated on floating device while wearing my life vest. I had a blast as always. After the
boat ride, i took him to dinner. I truly enjoying hanging out with him. He has been such
a great friend and even though we are so different from each other, i love hearing his
opinion on things because it gives me a different perspective on things.
It's going to be two years at the end of this month since i've became an American citizen. I' am
so grateful to all those who sacrifices their life and livelihood so that i can have the freedom to
be who i want to be and the opportunity to make something of myself. I know others back
home in my homeland who never had the opportunities or experiences i had. So i'am thankful
those who made this land what it is, to those who protect it and to my Mom who gave up
everything for my siblings and i. Thank you and God Bless this land that i love.

Later on this week, one of my old high school friend came down from Sarasota with a friend of hers for a weekend trip to Miami and it was a blast. I enjoyed just relaxing and not doing anything. It was great seeing different groups of people from all walk of life. I love seeing and being around people who do not share the same view as me or come from different cultures or faiths. In the past, i've learned a lot about myself and what i stand for from my interactions with people who are different from me. Sometimes it helped reaffirmed my belief and sometimes made me think of issues in a different light. So it was nice seeing that. The girls were great and it was nice getting to know them better. We all agreed that Miami was definitely a place to visit but we could never live in that city.
