Memorial Day
I had a blast this past Memorial Weekend. Saturday, i got called off from my part-time job so i spent all day just running errands and i finally got a chance to get a couple stuff for my apartment.
I got this painting for my living room wall.
The Laugh sign for the coffee table in the dinning room.
On Sunday, went to Mass and i got a chance to hang out with one of my married friends and her lovely kids while her husband went fishing. I don't know what about me but it seem everyone around me is either in a serious relationship or married with kids. But it was great to catch up with her and see how her family is doing since i have not been around a lot during the school year.
On Monday, one of my good guy friend who i referred to as my little brother since he is a year in half younger than me invited me on his boat. First of all, i'm not really a big water person sinceI can't swim and i'm afraid of drowning but he have always talked about how great the ocean is, how peaceful it is out there in the water and blah blah. So i took him on his offer and it was great.
This was the boat that we cruise the ocean with on Monday.
Before i even got on the boat i made wore a life vest and warn him that if anything happen i will personallyhurt him.

I'm not good at taking pictures plus i'mshort so this was my view 95% of the time.
We saw big boat, small boat, sail boat, speed boat, and cops on boat pulling people over because they did not have safety equipment on the boat or for being unsafe or just being a little to tipsy behind the wheel of the boat.
Then there was these huge mansion by the water. All i can think of that the homeowner must have good insurance because hurricane season is no joke here in the Sunshine State.

This picture doesn't do it justice but they were a bunch people on Keewaydin Island just having fun with loud music playing and a couple boat that serve as concession stands. It reminded me of Spring Break back in the Jersey Shore<3.
My friend gave me a tour of Keewaydin Island, Marco Island and a little a bit of Gulf of Mexico. The tide was getting too strong at the Gulf so we had to turn around and go back. I also learned how to float without my life vest on.
But the important thing about this weekend was showing gratitude and love to Our Troops those current and past who fought and are fighting for the freedom that we hold dearly. So proud to of my cousin and others like him. I'm so proud to be related to a Marine. I Love you Big Bro!
